“Canadians are coming over the border in great numbers to have surgical procedures performed that they are unable to get at home.” “Hoards of illegal aliens are storming through our borders to take advantage of our already crowded medical facilities.” It’s not always what you say, but how you say it. Although the statements above are true, are they fair? Because the author’s initial education took place in a little one-room schoolhouse at the doorstep of the historical Mission Del San Luis Rey, California, and his classmates were of Mexican descent, Japanese descent, and a couple were Native Americans, he knows a thing or two about diversification. He also wrote Two Faces of America, a reflection on many problems that exist in America. One chapter, “Immigration,” focused on immigration issues, and Mexigration is an extension of that subject. It intends to give the reader a heartfelt, sometimes humorous glance at some remedial suggestions.
