Message in the Flames — Steven Torres

The big party in the town square should have been one of the happiest moments of Luis Gonzalo's life, celebrating his twenty-five years as sheriff. But in the middle of the ceremony a blaze is spotted on a nearby hill. The Ortiz home is on fire. Inside is what's left of the Ortiz family--bound and shot. This isn't just a murder...it's a message.
