McShane's Bride — Marti Talbott

Based on an actual event. On a cold January night in 1909, the No. 5 passenger train lay directly in the path of an enormous two-locomotive freight train, hauling heavy rail cars filled with coal. Among the passengers was newly married Hanna McShane, excitedly on her way to meet her husband and start a new life in Colorado. Unfortunately, it was a train that would never reach its destination.
