An Elopement to Danger
Fitzroy Mountfitchet, Viscount Tarrant, was used to getting his brother Quentin out of scrapes. But this was outside of enough! Quentin had eloped with no less than the Lady Joanna Acton, an earl's daughter whose older brother Richard is Fitzroy's deadliest enemy -- the one man in England who has good reason to want the viscount dead.
Lady Joanna knows Quentin is a rake whose very name is synonymous with scandal. The dark-haired beauty has no intention of marrying him -- or anyone! But when she runs away from her straight-laced school to follow a passionate pursuit of her own, her appalled father insists on an instant marriage.
But to whom? Surely not Quentin's brother, Fitzroy Mountfitchet? The menacing viscount's days are filled with mysterious pursuits, and his reputation with the ladies is even more infamous. How on earth can Lady Joanna fit into his life, or he into hers? A dangerous elopement and a marriage of convenience seem a high price to pay for her rebellious bid for freedom...until a warm, stolen kiss offers the promise of love.
