Love Lines — Frances H. Grimes

Annie Thornton is at a loss for words. She joined a poetry workshop just to be near gorgeous instructor Padraic McKinnon, but he only seems interested in her writing. In desperation, Annie comes up with a fool-proof plan to catch Padraic's eye. But she quickly puts the scheme on hold when her long-time pal, Tommy, joins the workshop, too.

At first, Annie worries that Tommy will blow her cover, but he's too busy paying attention to another girl in their class. Annie pushes her growing jealousy aside to concentrate on getting Padraic to notice her, but she's disappointed to find out that a poet's life isn't all romance. Will Annie ever find the kind of love she reads about in her poetry books?
