A picture is worth a thousand trysts . . .
Iley Gilbert's photography career isn't advancing as smoothly as the film in her camera. Maybe it's because she's gotten comfortable with her own mediocrity, or maybe it's because she's reeling from loss. Maybe it's because, like her pictures, nothing is developing the way it should.
Then she stumbles onto a most unusual way to use her skills: shooting prom pictures. She and her boss -- her married boss -- William, click immediately, together for night after night of capturing kids in their ill-fitting tuxes and taffeta gowns. Before long, Iley and William are partying post-prom, and there begin the secrets. And a situation that leaves Iley and her creativity in the dark.
But there's hope yet, in the form of a mysterious female prom-goer who helps Iley get things back into focus. She'll have to give it her best shot -- but there's plenty of reason to hope Iley might be developing into something soon . . .
