Lone Star Woman — Sadie Callahan

Jude Strayhorn has trained for years, with courses in biology, agriculture and business, to become the Circle C's next general manager, but when her father appoints neighbor Brady Fallon instead, she is disappointed and impulsively -- and anonymously -- offers to buy his run-down ranch to carry out her breeding and ranching ideas. Brady, however, is both a challenge and an enigma to the somewhat sheltered Jude, and they soon find themselves enmeshed in a clandestine affair while Jude struggles between loyalty to her family, her feelings for Brady, and her own career ambitions.
