Mississippi creoles and Indians are up in arms. This time, the cartel has gone too far by arming a native insurrection, hijacking riverboats, and using passengers as slaves.  Something has to be done to stop the piracy and protect Starbuck interests. But by the time Jessie and Ki discover the nerve-center of the conspiracy it's almost too late. For now the cartel patrols the length of the river with warships, and Jessie and Ki have fallen into their trap...
