In the first book, Lilly, the Adventure Begins our little lady bug is going to explore the valley on her own. The story opens with an obstacle pushing Lilly right out of her bed, That awful blowing wind.After a yummy breakfast of sweet tulip cakes with daffodil honey Lilly is out the door and flying. She soon meets an adventurous grasshopper named Skipper. Together they explore the river valley with twist and turns along the way. From the yellow striped slithering snake, Thaddeus a lost butterfly, and Ms. Bee and the buzzing Bee's to the Rescue, young Lilly learns about each others different colors, stripes, and spots.
