LightBorne — Desmond Morris

On the final days of reckoning when all hope was lost and the shadows of the darkness crept on all living creatures a Great Old One came fourth and blessed the world with the hero of a pure soul and the embodiment of light itself. While the bright hero sál in other words soul, was fighting off the darkness he was consumed in flames by a pyromancer having his flesh burn to a crisp. As the old one stands by idly he ecides to leave this hopeless world behind, but not without leaving a parting gift. The Old one decides to make sál combust and explode the vicinity around him in hopes of killing off the pyromancer and the many fiends that plagued the area. But just as sál was destroyed his soul was scattered across the plains of this dark and twisted realm riddled with monsters like ghouls, demons, undead warriors, and benevolent creatures masked with tendrils and deformities. But a new warrior has arisen, one brave enough to take the plunge into darkness in order to gather sál's scattered soul and make him whole once again, in hopes of helping him bring the darkness to an end and proving that one can truly be LightBorne
