Libby on Wednesday — Zilpha Keatley Snyder

Libby hates school. Before this year she was tutored at home by her eccentric but brilliant relatives, but now her mother has decided it's time for Libby to be "socialized." So here she is, stuck with four kids she doesn't like in a writers' club that meets weekly on Wednesdays. There's G.G., a loud bully; Alex, who goes to special classes; Tierney, into punk and hard-boiled detective stories; and Wendy, a cheerleader. Can the five classmates learn to accept each other, and even become friends?
