Jennifer gasped in amazement...

For standing in the corridor of the train, not two paces away, was Richard--the one man shed come to detest!

"What ... what are you doing here?" she stammered.

"I'm here to save you from yourself, you brainless idiot!" he snarled, silencing further protests with an angry wave of his hand. For Jennifer had undertaken a mission that could lead her into a dangerous trap, and Richard wasn't about to let that happen.
