Anne wasn't at all sure that she was going to like her new life. She had moved from busy New York to live with her mother and a new stepfather in Virginia. She knew that her mother was very happy, and her stepfather wasn't a horrible person or anything, but she still felt strange. Having to adjust to a new school and new friends wasn't going to be all that easy either, especially when she found that everyone's main interest seemed to be horses.
