Laurel the Woodfairy — Cassie Kendall

Laurel isn't like most woodfairies. She's more energetic than elegant. More adventurous than artistic. And certainly more curious than quietly content. She's even interested in the Great Forest. But no woodfairy ever leaves the peaceful Dappled Woods.

Then for the first time in ages, a stranger arrives in the fairy woods. The visitor is a pixie named Foxglove. Laurel befriends him while daring to keep his presence a secret.

But Laurel fears she's made a mistake when Foxglove disappears. Especially when the fairies' most precious possession vanishes at the same time.

To track down both, Laurel sets out into the Great Forest. However, fearsome creatures lie in wait for her. And before long, Laurel finds herself face-to-face with a deadly enemy.
