Laurel Rescues the Pixies — Cassie Kendall

Too noisy, too untidy, too clumsy. Laurel is sure that's how the other woodfairies think of her. She simply doesn't belong in the Dappled Woods. So she announces that she's heading off to the pixie village where her friend Foxglove lives. And she just might stay there forever.

But soon after Laurel arrives at the village, disaster strikes. The pixies spot a forest fire heading right for them!

The pixies are ready to pack up their belongings and leave. But Laurel convinces them to stay and fight the fire.

As the flames draw closer, Laurel wonders if she's making a terrible mistake. Will the pixies be able to save the village? Or will they lose their homes -- and perhaps even their lives?
