Night life in Detroit is fun, unless you get murdered.
Detroit Police Detective Scott Murphy and his partner Hadeem McDougan are assigned to find the killer of a young woman in a parking lot of a night club in Detroit. They try to follow the evidence but the evidence isn't there. All trace has been wiped away and all they have is the strangled body of the woman. The next night a second woman is murdered in the exact same way and the staff of the bar didn't see the killer. One bartender offers to give a sketch of a man who may know who the killer is and they find the man. He can't offer much help either. The only clue they have are business cards supposedly left by the killer, but the cards belong to a doctor who has no idea how his cards were given out. A third murder and more clues surface as they get closer to the killer, but is there more than one killer? A psychopath is giving Murphy and Haddy a difficult time, but his lawyer complicates things even more. This is the second in a series following the “Leviticus Murders”.
