Tom Sellers, a sailor off the USS Mullinnix has been exchanging letters with Francy, a young woman he met through a USO pen pal program. They agree to get together when his ship visits Newport, RI. Her cousin picks up Tom up at the bus station in Providence delivers to him to her house in Lincoln. Her crafty younger brother entertains and an unexpected adventure follows.
