Kate and the Pennsylvania Pretzel Pickle — Janice Hanna

Kate has been chosen to attend a junior inventors showcase in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Her creation? A new gadget to aid pretzel companies in creating delicious dipped pretzel flavors. In the meantime, Kate partners with a local pretzel factory that is willing to test her invention, and along with Alexis, witnesses a rather unwelcome problem with the pretzels -- they're going flat! And if the pretzels are going flat, there is no way to test Kate's invention. Is one of the factory workers to blame? Or will a family feud threaten this pretzel business? Kate and Alexis are determined to get to the bottom of this pretzel predicament!
