Granada Court was a Spanish-style haven surrounded by Florida orange groves. It had been built by Karen Justin's father. But since his death a motel syndicate had a way of sending "anonymous" observers to check on properties with sagging profits. Karen suspected one of the current guests was such an "undercover" man -- or woman -- but which one? Glumly attractive Stan Blayden who was "stranded" because of car trouble? The vain lady novelist, or her patient secretary? One or both of the disagreeable Poindexter sisters? And if the syndicate decided it was time for a change, how would this affect Karen's future? Above all, how would it affect her longtime romance with red-haired Bill Ramsey? Would it bring them closer together or forever drive them apart?
