Just Cause Wrong Target — John Muir

In an effort to try and clarify what happened to his co-tourists after the insurgent uprising 12 months previous, TA returns to the Philippines. He briefly meets up with the mysterious ex-pat who guided him through his previous misadventure. After making new friends, he journey to southern areas of the Philippines where he meets a very wealthy European looking mixed blood Filipino-Japanese. The business offers TA his local business connections to obtain jewelry and tailor-made clothing. The businessman is the target of a revenge kidnapping, and TA is taken by mistake, as was arranged. The businessman is only interested in secretly locating gold buried by his grandfather, a colonel in the Japanese Army occupation of the Philippines during WW2.
