Josiah Wing, Mountain Man — Art Isberg

Josiah Wing retreats into the Rocky Mountain high country to start a new life away from civilization, living off the land. The big man dresses in skin clothes of animals he's taken, makes his home in a grizzly bear den, then finds an Indian woman near death and nurses her back to health. They avoid her own people, the United States Cavalry, and even a local sheriff, until finally they move even farther back to live a life of solitude. But Josiah's brother, thought to be killed in the Civil War, survives, coming west to track him down and reunite him with his family.
