Jameson's BIG Backyard is the first book in the Jameson The Rescue Dog Adventures. Follow Jamie from a dusty back road and empty water bowl in Georgia where he is rescued, to New Jersey where he is adopted by a family with a big backyard where he meets new friends every day. Greta Garter Snake, Chloe Chickadee, and Nora Nuthatch appear in this first book. Children and parents can read along together and follow the emotions of the sad-faced sun and cloud before Jamie is rescued, to the happy smiling sun and cloud through the rest of the book. The illustrations are outlined in bright colors to catch the reader's eye and hold their attention.
