The thing about the Earth is it's got all these HUMANS on it. No matter how discrete you try to be, you can't help bumping into them from time to time. When you're an alien from a place 250 light years away, that makes them a little crazy. Your technology is so advanced you can't even teach them the language they'd need to understand it, so everything you do seems like magic to them. But you aren't here voluntarily. When advanced technology breaks on a primitive planet, you're stuck. And when your stay is going to be a couple of centuries, you've gotta get a hobby.
