It's All I Got — Chris McCoy

A frail young woman named Bedisa cares for her invalid father on the dusty backwater world of Westerfair and has been forced to leave behind the affairs of love and romance. She takes it upon herself to hire a dashing young Swain, or male courtesan, by the name of Gerald to court her for the day and give her a taste of the romance she so desperately desires. Gerald gets swept up in his role and finds himself falling for the young Bedisa, who shows the jaded young man a side of love he has never experienced with a client before. But then tragedy strikes and leaves the two lovers with a bittersweet ending that changes them both forever.
