It Can Happen Again — Wayne Saunders

Jack Cahill, a San Francisco detective, is finding life difficult as a recently divorced father of a college age daughter. While working out at the club one morning, he sees Carly Talbot running by his stationary bike, as he catches up on the local news. His pursuit of Carly is woven into the case load that faces him and his partner. From the old man shot through his door one morning, to the murder of young boys on a school playground, and ending with a runaway young girl who is wanted for killing her father, it makes the dating game a tough road to hoe for Jack. If that weren't enough, his relationship with his partner has changed. Changed to something he wasn't quite planning on.
