For Nikki, home is the decidedly un-posh Pelican Island, where she spends the summer working at her parents' shop delivering sandwiches by bicycle. One of her deliveries goes embarrassingly awry, but at least she gets something out of it: She meets Daniel. There seems to be an immediate connection, but Nikki can't tell if Daniel feels the same way she does. Is it summer love, or something more?
