Intruder at Windgates — Henrietta Reid

When Jane arrived at Windgates in the Scottish Highlands to visit her great-aunt, Ellen Ferguson, it was to discover that the old lady had been bought out of her beloved home by a complete stranger -- Morris Leslie -- and was understandably bitter about it.
