Intrigue Along the Border — John Duncklee

There are instances where Mexican Drug Cartels use border ranchers as 'mules' to carry their illegal goods from Mexico into the United States. Some of the ranchers who fight drought, downsizing of grazing permits, low beef prices, and high taxes can be drawn to drug smuggling for money to save their lands and provide for their families. When Audrey Nichols loses the husband she was leaving to a terrible accident, she seeks solace with her friends on a border ranch in Arizona. Jackie and Leo Ellis welcome Audrey, but are careful to have her away from the ranch on certain nights. What are Audrey's friends up to, and are they all in danger?
