Infinite Things All at Once — Rachel Yoder

The young women in Infinite Things All At Once emerge into adulthood earnest, innocent, and reaching. As they move from farms to cities, trading small-mindedness for enlightenment, they are dazzled by their freedomand, just as often, violated by it.

Rachel Yoder grew up in a Mennonite community in the Appalachian foothills of Ohio. Rachel's writing has appeared in the The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Paris Review Daily, and others. Her work has been awarded notable distinctions in Best American Short Stories and Best American Nonrequired Reading and as runner-up for the Chicago Tribune's Nelson Algren Award.
