Indecision — Bill Wetterman

Former Miss America contestant, Kelly French, marries country singer star and rising political hopeful Clayton Moore. Soon after becoming president, Moore experiences signs of fast moving Alzheimer disease. Kelly sets-up procedures to hide his malady from the public. In a loveless marriage, she protects her husband and works with a team of close advisors to solve the nation's problems. The United States faces a threat never seen before. The New Black Panther Party, the Black Lives Matter Movement, and other groups demand a trillion dollars in reparations and the annexation of Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia for an independent country within a country. They threaten to occupy the centers of several America cities until their requests are granted. Can this political novice overcome her indecision and lead the country in its time of crisis?
