At the heart of If Nothing Else is the unlikely relationship between an ex-mercenary soldier and a full-blooded Masai tribesman, both of whom find themselves exiled in Nigeria. Circumstance throws the two of them together with a disparate group of...let's call them treasure-seekers… on the run from the Mafia. That organisation thinks it has first claim on a huge stash of stolen diamonds, located somewhere in the Namib desert. Only one person knows the actual location of the diamonds, though, certainly up front, he is in complete ignorance of that fact.
