When Linda Castleton collapsed just before her wedding to Dr. Simon Venning, she was sent to Birch Hill Hospital, where she discovered that the nurses were resentful and dissatisfied under the tyrannical Sister-in-Charge, Christina Heyword. Linda found herself becoming daily more interested in Pete, the mysterious patient who had lost his memory. Meanwhile, Christina, in love with Simon, was quick to seize her opportunity.
