Staff nurse Emma Mayfield was proud of the work done at Saxham Cottage Hospital, and of her family connection to it, since her great grandfather had donated his home to be the hospital. So it was a huge shock to learn from Dr Craig Norbury, one of the local GP's that it was to be closed.

Emma determined to fight the closure, whatever Craig might think. He didn't seem prepared to make a personal commitment either, so what had Emma to lose, except her heart?
