My name is Hadley Harlyton and my life is complicated. Not only do I have to find the bags my dad stole, but I also have to work for Blaise's father. And it doesn't help that something seems to be troubling Payton, yet she won't tell me what.

As my problems pile up, I start to grow desperate and end up striking a deal that I know is eventually going to come back and haunt me.

Luckily, I have Blaise to help me out. Although, I'm not a fan of getting help. Just like I'm not a fan of how deep my feelings are getting toward Blaise.

We need to stay friends, which would be easy if Blaise wasn't so sweet and caring.
