Throughout his life Michael endured more than his share of pain and heartache. Starting with his childhood and continuing to the present, life-altering trials took their toll. Dealing with painful rejection, mind-numbing despair, terrifying tragedy, heart-breaking loss, and devastating loneliness formed him into the man that he became. That man, although broken in many ways, came to the conclusion that God was always there regardless of the distance felt. Maybe this life was meant to lessen that distance, or maybe it was to help others to close a gap in their faith. But his journey had always been self-directed, and now his path had been relinquished to where God wanted him to go. His only hope was that he was worthy, and he could do exactly what God wanted him to do!
