Hiding the Elephant — Mira Kolar-Brown

The year is 1992. In the (fictional) Northamptonshire village of Hallbrook, Detective Inspector Simon Grant is held hostage by the killer of three people. Police are besieging the house and with them is the local GP, Emma Martin. During six hours of the siege, Simon Grant and Emma Martin relive their lives, the past week of investigation into the murders and their own relationship.
