Tom Garret operates the Big Wheel at Gamlin's fair. When young runaway Jason Bradley tries to rob him of his night's take, a chain of events is set in motion which draws the two together in a tangled web of mutual mistrust and growing fascination. Each carries a burden of guilt and tragic unspoken history; each is running from something. But the fair is a place of magic and mystery where the normal rules of life don't seem to apply, and Jason finds himself on an intense journey of self-discovery in an atmosphere of unbridled sexuality and growing love.
