Heart of a spider is set in Melbourne. Detective Kendal is chasing a patient who has escaped from the mental institution. He wants to murder Kendal. The chase is complicated by the visitation of a ghost and a vigilante know only as GP. Kendal's partner, Claire is approached by the accomplice who murdered her husband six months ago while she's on stake out at midnight.
