Holiday festivities are in full swing for Lucy Nan Pilgrim and her resident guardian angel, Augusta Goodnight -- until murder meddles with the good cheer. Naturally, neither Lucy Nan nor Augusta trust this newcomer, especially after his landlady falls to her death from the church balcony. Soon the plot is as thick as Christmas trifle and just as sticky for Lucy Nan as she tries to outwit a murderer before she's the next to be decked in the halls.
