Three time Oscar winner Hannah Carr desperately needs to get away before her next movie begins. She disguises herself, takes a fake ID, loads of cash and goes away. She ends up at the Grand Canyon on a Friday. On Sunday she wakes up on a beach at the Delaware Bay. She's no ide how she got there - or who she is. A kindly woman, Judy MacKaby takes her in and gets her a job waitressing. Then Hannah falls in love with Judy's brother in-law. After this, events complicate.
