Angela Matelli has had some weird cases in her day--but the world of voodoo, zombies and that of black magic is as strange as it gets for the Boston P l., especially when it occurs on the grounds of a prestigious Vermont college.

Dr. Don Cannon, professor of anthropology, is on the receiving end of some disturbing gifts: a voodoo doll, and a chicken heart. He's also witnessed a recently deceased student wandering the campus grounds. The rattled prof thinks he's either going insane--or there's a zombie stalking Hartmore College. He wants Angela to tell him which.

Posing as a student, Angela learns more than she ever wanted to about the walking dead--especially when it looks as if she's about to join them.
