Johnny Concha interrupted the hanging. His big ten-gauge was steady and he stood behind it, relaxed but determined, his fierce dog at his heel. A bull-like voice told him they had caught Haskell butchering Triangle beef and they were going to hang him. As his eyes sought the voice, Johnny's thoughts flashed back - it was becoming an old story and only the speed of his gun could speak for him now.
