DEADLY DISSERTATION
A desolate, moonlit night; a piercing howl; an unnerving appearance. Harvard doctoral candidate Dulcie Schwartz wishes her encounter had been a scene straight out of the mysterious eighteenth-century manuscript she's transcribing. But tonight she definitely heard a wolf -- and saw her advisor Martin Thorpe acting strangely -- near where a student named Mina was savagely attacked. And when the student turns out to resemble Dulcie, it's a coincidence that's too hard to write off.
Dulcie investigates, and all evidence points to the woman's possessive boyfriend as the prime suspect. But then a renowned visiting professor is struck down just like Mina. With cryptic warnings from her departed cat, Mr. Grey, Dulcie must untangle a centuries-old trail of lies and obsession to uncover the truth -- even as a shadowy murderer waits to end Dulcie's own story…
