"The Great Ship of Knowledge, Volume-One, Learning Earth's Deathly History" is a post-apocalyptic story about people "Learning Earth's Deathly History" 1000 years after Earth was destroyed in a nuclear World War.
The reality of Earth, which they take as physical, is in fact a virtual copy of pre-apocalyptic Earth.
Although they believe they were physically born and living on Earth, none of them were or are.
They are transcendent beings mentally inhabiting a replicated world built to perfectly mimic life on Earth.
In truth, their physical forms are stored in individual life-chest on massive starships that have trekked across the Milky Way Galaxy for 1000 years.
The armada of Great Ships have finally reached the New World.
But before they can see their true forms, the Great Ships, or the New World--they must all Learn Earth's Deathly History--by virtually living it in the true to life, yet, artificial reality.
