Michelle wants this year at Jefferson Junior High to be different. She's already shown the boys she can do whatever they can, especially on the basketball court. Now she wants to concentrate on just being a girl and hanging out with her friends.

Then a few of the boys on the football team see her kick a ball straight through the goalposts. The team doesn't have a good kicker, and Michelle would be perfect. The only problem is, the coach would never let a girl on his team, no matter how good she was. Michelle thinks that stinks. So she decides to be the first girl ever on the Jefferson Junior High football team -- without the coach and most of the players knowing about it.
