When Will's grumpy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside (and incidentally very hot) neighbor and maybe friend asks for Will to be his fake boyfriend for a Christmas party thrown by his sisters, Will jumps at the chance. Will has been pining dramatically for a while now, convinced that nothing would ever come of his feelings since he is an aging twink hairstylist obsessed with old movies and Charlie is the stern, older professor type. The party will give him a chance to live what he wants, so of course he says yes.But a little spiked eggnog and some mistletoe help him realize he hasn't been the only one pining.
