After the success of the Charlie Chan and Mr. Moto films, Monogram hired Boris Karloff (Frankenstein, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome) to play Hugh Wiley's Detective James Lee Wong in a series of Mr. Wong movies. Keye Luke, Charlie Chan's #1 son, played Mr. Wong in the final movie of the series.
This edition includes the illustration to the story, as well as a large gallery of cartoons from the March 2 1940 issue of Collier's.
