Flowers of Love — Jean Woodward

Sandy Forrester's assignment to write a magazine article about Clu Magneson, the temperamental New Mexico artist, became more difficult by the moment. First, Clu agreed to let Sandy interview him at his huge ranch, the Hacienda Palomino. Then he decided he didn't want her to invade his privacy. Meanwhile, the magazine photographer broke his leg--and Sandy realized she would have to take pictures for the article in addition to coaxing Clu to talk to her. But all of that was nothing compared to the most difficult thing of all: falling in love with elusive, arrogant painter when she knew his heart already belonged to a great beauty called Delores.
