Michael Chalinski has promised to put the drunk driver who slammed into his wife's car behind bars. He owes it to his wife's memory, and he owes it to his twelve-year-old daughter, who's growing up without her mother.

Claire Logan also believes in keeping promises -- and that includes defending her clients to the best of her ability. Unfortunately, her newest client is the very man Michael has sworn to bring to justice.
