Life had changed immeasurably for Fran Bergmont. She had returned from Africa pregnant and alone after the death of her partner, and was now back at work after giving birth to Naomi. The ward was interesting, more so after the arrival of the new registrar, Callum Smith. The attraction between them was potent, but Fran needed time before risking involvement again.
